The science is clear.
Clinical research continues to demonstrate the remarkable therapeutic potential of naturally occurring compounds like psilocybin and DMT. Yet as public access expands, so do financial barriers.
The people who often need help the most are increasingly the ones least able to afford it.
We refuse to accept that.
Sozo exists because we believe healing should never become another luxury product, patented, developed by publicly traded corporations with rising shares and stockholders, and administered only in controlled settings.
Thousands of dollars per session did not - and does not - get help to the people who need it most.
We believe naturally occurring medicines should remain accessible to ordinary people - not owned, monopolized, or placed behind unnecessary financial barriers.
Our answer is community.
People educating people.

For generations, communities have helped one another through grief, addiction, trauma, loss, and recovery.
We believe communities can help people navigate psychedelic experiences safely and responsibly as well. We've witnessed this in our own lives and later through our own practice as we paid it forward.
We work alongside professionals.
Professional clinicians, licensed facilitators, and therapists have an essential role for people who need additional care or more intensive support.
We want to work alongside them - not against them. When someone needs a higher level of care, we believe they should receive it, and we will refer within our network.

Every person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and find meaning regardless of income.
